Needlepoint Embroidery not only looks pretty on display in your home but it’s also incredibly useful for mending, labelling school uniform, giving a gift the personal touch, customising your clothes or commemorating a big life event. This beginners embroidery workshop provides you with the skills and the knowledge to try all these things.
You’ll embroider your choice of initial using a wide range of stitches to make a thoroughly modern sampler in its own hoop frame, all ready for your wall.
How to transfer a design accurately to the canvas. Ensuring that the canvas is in the hoop securely and evenly. Starting and stopping your line of stitches. At least 12 different embroidery stitches. Keeping stitches untwisted and at the right tension.
You’ll take away a care guide and written instructions for all the stitches that you learn. Also your practice piece of linen, your finished initial in it’s hoop and your embroidery needle. I also send you away with suggestions for next projects and techniques to try as well as sources for all the kit you’ve used.
